This is a hidden paradise and I felt so blessed that my husband brought me here that day.

The spring is right inside the camp ground entrance, no hiking or hunting for it. The spring was a great place 2 take photos & the water was ice cold on a hot day! There were stepping stones so u could dip ur feet in. Playground & picnic area right on the river. I was pleasantly surprised that there was flushing toilets. Close enough 2 a town if supplies were needed but county enough that we saw wild life. A turkey actually flew over my sons head while sitting by the river @ our camp site!! I loved the campsites in the back part of the camp ground. They were right on the river & spaced enough apart for privacy.

Great quiet place to camp. No RV hookups but in the woods next to river and natural spring well. Small campground with lots of walking trails.

I was shown this by my dad. He came here as a boy. It is awesome, mostly as it is nor commercialised! ❤

Small town owned park on the banks of the Cedar river. Maybe 12 camping sights. Lightly used. Picnic area. Historic natural springs that is drinkable but heavy iron content. $5.00 per night.
